Building on the success over the past two years, Going Global Partnership: UK-China-ASEAN will continue to support the multi-lateral higher education links this year, with a priority focus on Vietnam and Indonesia and the theme on improving the quality of student experience through digital learning.
Six proposals have been chosen for funding, out of more than 20 high quality applications, by the selection board consisting of representatives from Ministry of Education, the HE sectors, and community leaders in the UK, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Seed-funding of around £65,000 will be provided to each UK institution to partner with China and Vietnam and/or Indonesia for projects that will strengthen online teaching and learning, improve student experiences, and boost education internationalisation of the countries involved.
The Going Global Partnership: UK-China-ASEAN has been designed to support the development of student experience and mobility, academic communications and exchanges, leadership skills development, teaching excellence via digital/blended delivery, and research collaborations. It aims at increasing collaboration among institutions in the UK, China and ASEAN countries by nurturing strategic and sustainable partnerships; creating benefits that apply to the wider higher education sector, such as sharing international best practice.
